At the same time, it would be unfair to discredit their partners in crime. Hosts have a seemingly minimal role in the restaurant to some, seeing as their job is all about seating people. However, that couldn't be further from the truth. These staff are integral in maintaining order to the place, and they endure plenty of annoying behavior from customers too. This has been underlined in a recent TikTok, where both video and comment section complained about the unreasonable demands that diners placed on hosts. It costs $0 to not be like this.
